STIBET I Scholarship

Financial support for your academic journey

The STIBET I programme provides financial support to eligible international students at FOM. The scholarship is intended to help students manage the financial demands of while recognizing those who have demonstrated excellent academic performance during their first year and made outstanding contributions to the university community through international, intercultural, social, or extracurricular engagement.

The programme is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) with financial resources provided by the German Federal Foreign Office (AA).

Who can apply for the STIBET I Scholarship?

You are eligible to apply for a STIBET I Scholarship if you gained your higher education entrance qualification outside Germany or completed a German Studienkolleg based on qualifications obtained abroad. You must have completed your first two semesters in an international study programme at FOM successfully. Applicants who hold German citizenship are not eligible. 

Scholarship recipients are selected by the university based on the eligibility requirements and selection criteria defined by the STIBET programme and in accordance with DAAD guidelines. The grades achieved during the first year of study are considered as part of the selection process.

Financial support

How much funding could you receive?

The STIBET I Scholarship provides eligible international students with funding of up to € 2,000 per student. The amount awarded depends on your individual income and the number of scholarships available.
