Financial support for your academic journey in Germany

Studying in Germany is an investment in your future – and financial support can make that journey easier. FOM University of Applied Sciences offers different scholarship opportunities for international students, depending on their academic achievements and individual commitment. Whether you are just starting your studies or have already completed your first semesters at FOM, you may be eligible for financial support.

FOM Scholarship

Academic excellence rewarded

Strong academic results can help make your studies at FOM more affordable. The FOM Scholarship supports high-achieving international students from third countries who are starting an English-taught Bachelor’s or Master’s programme. Applications are only possible as part of the FOM admissions process and require proof of good to excellent previous academic performance. Funded directly by FOM, the scholarship contributes towards tuition fees and helps talented students begin their academic journey in Germany.

STIBET I Scholarship

Commitment makes a difference

Academic success is only part of the story: remarkable civic or intercultural commitment can also pay off. The STIBET I Scholarship supports eligible international students who have successfully completed their first two semesters in an international programme at FOM. Selection considers first-year grades as well as outstanding international, intercultural, social or extracurricular engagement. Funded by the DAAD with resources from the German Federal Foreign Office, the scholarship offers up to €2,000 per student.
