Business Administration (Logistics)

The Bachelor of Arts course of studies “Business Administration (Logistics)” is a Chinese-English language cooperation study programme. The students receive two Bachelor degrees after 4 years – the Bachelor of Arts degree “Business Administration” awarded by the FOM University in Germany, as well as the Bachelor of Arts degree “Logistics”, awarded by the Chinese Wuhan Business University. The bachelor higher education course carried out according to German and Chinese standards prepares the graduates for management tasks, especially focusing on the area of logistics in internationally active companies.

The students are admitted by the Chinese partner university and start their basic course there, which continues over 5 semesters. During the study period in China they will not only be taught by lecturers of the Wuhan Business University, but also by educators from the FOM in Germany. After the basic course the Chinese students continue their academic training at the German FOM German-Sino School of Business & Technology in the Essen campus. The Bachelor Thesis is completed in Germany.

The bachelor course of studies “Business Administration (Logistics)” integrates a basic knowledge of business economics with a strong focus on practical use and applications. An overview of all areas of corporate management is presented during the basic course at Wuhan Business University and considered in detail with the in-depth modules “Logistics” at the FOM University. In addition to the specialist knowledge, graduates will possess fluent English and intercultural experience.

You will complete your bachelor studies in Business Administration (Logistics) with the academic degree of Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).

Accreditation (Bachelor)

The FOM University of Applied Sciences is accredited by the German Council for Science and Humanities for its special service to education and research and was the first private university in Germany to receive system-accreditation by the FIBAA in 2012. This seal of approval proves that the quality management of the FOM University meets the high standards of the Accreditation Council, the most important body for the quality of studies and education at German universities. In 2018 the FOM University received system-accreditation for further eight years. Thus, all courses of study offered by the FOM are accredited. A bachelor's degree from the FOM University of Applied Sciences generally also qualifies students for a further master's degree and subsequently a PhD programme.

What you need for admission

Participants are admitted to the collaborative study programme by the Chinese universities after passing the Chinese Gaokao, or higher education entrance examination.
